KIMS Karad Hosts Successful Workshop on Designing Application-Based Questions.

May 2nd, 2025 – Curriculum Committee, KIMS, Karad, recently organized a highly successful workshop focused on “Designing Application-Based Questions.” The workshop, held at the MET Hall, aimed to train faculty members in framing various types of scenario/application-based questions in alignment with the National Medical Council (NMC) pattern for theory papers.

The sessions were expertly led by Dr. Santosh Salagre, Professor & HOD of Medicine, and Dr. Raakhi Tripathi, Associate Professor of Pharmacology. Both esteemed individuals are also NMC faculty mentors from GMC & KEM, Mumbai.

Faculty members actively participated in engaging group activities and collaboratively developed scenario-based MCQs and short note questions, along with reasoning-based/application-based questions relevant to their respective departments.
