Dr. Prasannajeet Pramod Nikam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Physiotherapy, created history on 15th December 2023 by filing 25 patents in a single day. These patents encompass a wide range of innovative devices and modalities in Physiotherapy, including Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Neurological Disorder–related inventions, and Geriatric Rehabilitation.

For this extraordinary achievement, his name has been officially included in the India Book of Records and World Records India as a World Record Holder for the following three titles:

• Maximum Patents Filed in a Single Day – 25 Patents
• Most Patents Filed by an Individual in One Month – 25 Patents
• Maximum Patents Filed in One Year – 29 Patents

This marks the first time in the history of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, that three world records have been achieved in the field of research. It is a proud and historic moment for the entire Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth and the Krishna College of Physiotherapy family.
