The Postgraduate Diploma in Neonatal Nursing is a one-year advanced training program offered by the Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences, Karad, under Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). This program focuses on developing specialized skills in neonatal care, including the management of high-risk neonates, neonatal procedures, and parent counseling. Students gain hands-on experience in labor rooms, NICUs, and postnatal wards, helping them deliver high-quality care to newborns at all levels of neonatal health services. With India facing a high rate of neonatal morbidity and mortality, this diploma prepares nurses to provide competent, compassionate, and evidence-based neonatal nursing care.

Understand the principles and scope of neonatal nursing.
