About the Department

The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is dedicated to providing high-quality education and clinical training in the field of orthodontics. The department focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malocclusion and dentofacial anomalies through modern, evidence-based treatment approaches.
Students are trained in both theoretical and practical aspects, including diagnosis, appliance fabrication, and advanced orthodontic techniques such as fixed, removable, and myofunctional appliances, preparing them to deliver comprehensive orthodontic care.

Dr. Channamallappa Ganiger

Participated in the National Inter-Disciplinary Clinico-Pathological Conference and chaired a scientific session at the School of Dental Sciences, Karad, on 25th May 2022. Attended the 25th IOS PG Student Convention held at Mangalore from 25th April to 1st May 2022. Participated in the Workshop on Quality Control Implementation organized by the School of Dental Sciences, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, on 30th May 2022.
