Overview
The M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a comprehensive postgraduate program designed to produce competent specialists capable of managing all aspects of female reproductive health. The curriculum blends clinical training, surgical proficiency, and academic excellence to prepare future obstetricians and gynaecologists for independent practice, teaching, and research.
The program facilitates comprehensive understanding and skill development in maternal and fetal care, gynaecological disorders, infertility management, reproductive surgeries, and women’s health across all age groups.
Antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care
High-risk pregnancy and fetal surveillance
Obstetric emergencies and neonatal resuscitation
Gynaecological diseases and reproductive endocrinology
Infertility and assisted reproductive techniques (ART)
Operative obstetrics and gynaecology (vaginal/abdominal/laparoscopic)

Eligibility Criteria:
- Annual Intake:
- 12 seats per year
- Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must possess a recognized MBBS degree or equivalent qualification.
- Must have completed a one-year rotating internship after passing the final MBBS examination.
- Permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council is required (or must be obtained within one month of admission).
- Must qualify NEET-PG with a minimum of 50 percentile or as prescribed by the Government of India.
- Must be eligible and willing to work as a full-time resident for the entire course duration.
- Candidates with a recognized two-year postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology may be eligible for a one-year reduction in course duration.
