The M.D.S. in Periodontology is a comprehensive postgraduate dental program focused on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of periodontal diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth. Eligibility Criteria:
- Annual Intake:
- 3 seats per year
- Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must have completed a B.D.S. degree along with one-year compulsory rotating internship from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must have permanent registration with the Dental Council of India or a State Dental Council, or must obtain the same within one month of admission.
- The student must be able to work as a full-time resident for the full duration of the program.
- Selection will be based on NEET (MDS) merit, following rules laid down by the Dental Council of India and Director General of Health Services, Government of India.
- Admission shall be granted strictly based on academic merit and eligibility norms set by the university and regulatory authorities.
- The candidate must not be registered for another M.D.S. course simultaneously unless the prior registration is cancelled or the course is completed.
- The student must complete three years of structured training, including research, clinical, and academic components under an approved guide.
