Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) is proud to share that Dr. Mrs. Vaishali Rajsinh Mohite, Dean, Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences, Karad, was invited for the First National Stakeholder Meeting on Emergency & Trauma Nurse Practitioner Program, held on 14th April 2025 at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Emergency and Trauma Care (WHO CCET), South East Asia Region, JPNATC, AIIMS, New Delhi.
This landmark meeting marked the launch of the First National Emergency & Trauma Nurse Practitioner Program in India- to promulgate and promote emergency and trauma / injury nursing care in India through academic, clinical services and research. A pioneering step aimed at strengthening the critical role of nurses in emergency response, trauma care, and life-saving interventions.
Organized with the intent to foster collaboration, strategic planning, and seamless integration, the event brought together eminent leaders, policy makers, educators, and healthcare experts from across the country. Their collective focus was on building a resilient and responsive Emergency Care System that recognizes and leverages the expertise of nursing professionals.
Dr. Vaishali Mohite’s participation underscores Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences’ commitment to advancing nursing education, promoting healthcare excellence, and contributing to national initiatives that empower healthcare professionals.
This meeting was not just a gathering—but a movement. A movement to empower nurses, elevate their roles in critical care, and ensure timely, effective, and patient-centered emergency services throughout India.
