KVV’s Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, Karad celebrated World Pharmacists Day on 25th September 2025, aligning with the global theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist.” The event highlighted the indispensable role of pharmacists in strengthening healthcare and promoting community well-being.

The celebration was honored by the presence of Hon. Dr. Pravin Shingare (Principal Advisor, Academics & Accreditation, KVV) as President of the function; Mr. Dilip G. Gune, Managing Director, S. G. Phytopharma, Kolhapur, as Chief Guest; Dr. N. R. Jadhav, Dean, KIP; Dr. A. A. Koparde, Dean Academics, KVV; and Mrs. P. P. Jadhav, along with the entire teaching faculty.

Organized under the guidance of Dr. N. R. Jadhav (Organizing Chairman) and coordinated by Mrs. Pratiksha Jadhav, the program featured several impactful initiatives—an awareness rally, patient counseling session, felicitation of community and hospital pharmacists, a charity visit to Shivshambho Vruddhashram, Nerle, and creative logo & slogan competitions.

A charitable contribution worth ₹12,000—including clothes, medicines, fruits, and other essentials—was donated by teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students.

The celebration successfully showcased the compassion, expertise, and social commitment of the pharmacy profession.
