Krishna Institute of Pharmacy, KVV (Deemed to be University), Karad, in association with Gulbarga University, Karnataka, and APTI (Central), successfully hosted the 2nd National Student Conference on March 3–4, 2025. The event brought together students, researchers, and academicians to explore the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences and technology.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. N. R. Jadhav (Dean, KIP). Dr. Meena Chintamaneni (Pro Vice-Chancellor, NMIMS, Mumbai) graced the event as Chief Guest, while Dr. M. V. Ghorpade (Registrar, KVV) delivered the Presidential Address. Distinguished Guests of Honour included Dr. G. M. Vidyasagar, Dr. S. R. Patil, and Dr. (Brig) G. Himashree.
A Poster Competition across D.Pharm, UG, and PG categories showcased innovative research, evaluated by eminent judges. Winners and runner-ups across multiple categories were recognized for their outstanding work.
The Valedictory Function was presided over by Dr. Yugantara R. Kadam (Dean, KIMS). On March 4, the conference also featured a Swimming Competition, inaugurated by Dr. Manoj Ambali (Director, Sports & Cultural Affairs, KVV), adding a spirit of sportsmanship to the event.
The two-day conference concluded with resounding success, celebrating academic excellence, research innovation, and student engagement.
