The Organizing Committee of MahaMicrocon 2025, hosted by Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, extended a formal invitation to Dr. Geeta Karande, Professor of Microbiology, to serve as an Invited Session Chair for the scientific session on “Innovations in Diagnostics” at the 29th Maharashtra State Conference of IAMM, held on 23rd–24th August 2025 at Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai.

Dr. Karande was also invited to grace the Inauguration Ceremony of the conference on 23rd August 2025, where she was felicitated for her contributions as the President of the Maharashtra Chapter of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists for the year 2018–19.

As a token of appreciation, she was presented with a shawl, shriphal, and memento.
