The Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (CCM) is a specialized one-year training program that builds advanced clinical expertise in the management of critically ill patients. With structured teaching, simulation-based training, and hands-on exposure, the program enables postgraduates to master evidence-based critical care practices, ethical decision-making, and leadership skills required in high-acuity medical environments.

The objectives of CCM fellowship is:

To understand the theoretical basis of organ dysfunction and critical illness and apply these principles to treat critically ill patients.

To develop the knowledge and skills to diagnose critical illnesses and their complications

To evaluate the published literature and to apply comprehensively to the critically ill patient

To learn the practice of evidence-based medicine in managing critically ill patients

To develop the skills of communication with family members of critically ill patients
