KVV’s Krishna Institute of Pharmacy is proud to announce that Dr. Shivsharan B. Dhadde has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy by Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar University, Solapur, on April 15, 2025. He successfully defended his thesis titled “Synthesis of Dietary Supplement Forms of Chromium (III) and Evaluation of Their Effects on Reproduction in Drosophila melanogaster” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Mallinath S. Kalshetti.

Dr. Dhadde’s research involved synthesizing bioavailable Chromium (III) complexes and assessing their reproductive effects using Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism. His work has led to four high-quality research publications—three in Q1 journals and one in a Q2 journal—with a combined impact factor of 13.6. He also presented key findings at an international conference in Solapur.
