Innovative Lecture Award – CEC-UGC Educational Film Festival 2025

We are proud to share that Dr. Chitra C. Khanwelkar, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, Maharashtra, has been honored with the Innovative Lecture Award (Academician) at the 26th CEC-UGC Educational Film Festival, held from 20–22 March 2025 at the University of Lucknow.

Her award-winning educational film, “Ideal Interaction Between Doctor and Medical Representative,” emphasizes ethical communication in medical practice and serves as a training tool for second-phase MBBS students. The lecture encourages a critical, evidence-based approach to pharmaceutical promotion, in line with the National Medical Council’s Competency-Based Medical Education guidelines.

With over 34 years of teaching experience and 75+ publications, Dr. Khanwelkar continues to inspire excellence in medical education.
