About the Department

The Department of Cardiology is a super-specialty centre committed to delivering high-quality cardiac care in an affordable manner. Equipped with advanced infrastructure, a digital invasive cath lab, and a skilled team of doctors and staff, the department provides comprehensive cardiac services. Non-invasive investigations such as Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echo, and Cardiac MRI are routinely performed, along with invasive procedures like angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and valvuloplasty. Advanced interventions such as device closure for congenital heart diseases, electrophysiology studies, RF ablation, ICD and CRT implantation are carried out under the guidance of a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist. The department also organizes health camps in nearby villages to extend quality care and create awareness about cardiac diseases.
