The National Conference on Disability and Rehabilitation, hosted by Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s College of Physiotherapy, focused on the theme of disability and rehabilitation. Held on 25th–26th September 2024 in virtual mode, the multidisciplinary conference brought together physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, nurses, speech therapists, and special educators.

The staff and PG students of the Krishna College of Physiotherapy represented the Department of Oncologic Physiotherapy through paper presentations:

• Dr. Vaishnavi Badave – MPT 1 (Postgraduate Category)
• Dr. Sonia Ninawe – MPT 1 (Postgraduate Category)
• Dr. Alisha Shikalgar – MPT 1 (Postgraduate Category)

Achievements

The department delivered an outstanding performance in the paper presentation competition, achieving top honors:

• Dr. Trupti Yadav (HOD) secured 1st rank in the Professional Category, showcasing her exceptional expertise and contribution to the field of physiotherapy.
• Dr. Sonia Ninawe (MPT 1) achieved 1st rank in the Postgraduate (PG) Category, demonstrating remarkable research proficiency and presentation skills.
• Dr. Vaishnavi Badave (MPT 1) secured 2nd rank in the Postgraduate (PG) Category, further emphasizing the strong academic excellence of the department.
