Krishna College of Physiotherapy – Cultural Week 2024–25

The Cultural Week 2024–25 at Krishna College of Physiotherapy was a vibrant and energetic celebration filled with creativity, cultural appreciation, and student engagement. Spanning four exciting theme-based days, the week encouraged participation, teamwork, and joyful expression.


Day 1: Traditional Day – 24th February 2025

The week commenced with Traditional Day, honoring India’s rich cultural heritage. Each batch represented a different Indian state—including Punjab, Maharashtra, Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and the Southern States—and showcased their cultural essence through traditional attire and classroom decorations.

Highlights of the day included:

  • Class Decoration Competition1st Year students won for their beautiful Punjab-themed setup.
  • Fruit & Vegetable Carving CompetitionMs. Sharayu Pawar secured the first place with her impressive creativity.
  • Fun with Dialogues Game – Students translated iconic movie dialogues into Marathi.
  • Dumb Charades – The faculty team emerged victorious in both rounds.
  • Folk Dance Performances representing diverse Indian regions, adding rhythm and color to the event.

Day 2: Film Festival Day – 25th February 2025

Students arrived dressed as popular movie characters, adding excitement and cinematic flair to the campus.

Key events included:

  • Class Drama Competition – Featuring skits, performances, and dance; 1st Year students won the title.
  • Guess the Object (Faculty Game) – Won by Dr. Poonam Patil.
  • Ad-Made Show – Teams showcased creativity and marketing skills; the team led by Ms. Anuja Pawar and Ms. Renuka Mashalkar won the competition.

Day 3: Haunted Day – 27th February 2025

Students embraced spooky and supernatural themes with creative costumes, makeup, and character portrayals.
A Food Without Fire Competition was held, where students showcased their culinary skills using innovative, no-cook recipes.

Day 4: Fun Fair – 1st March 2025

The concluding day featured a lively Fun Fair – “Taste of the Town”, hosted at the Pharmacy College. Students set up stalls offering:

  • Delicious homemade food
  • Engaging games
  • Handmade and creative shopping items

The event attracted students, faculty, and professionals, becoming a delightful culmination of the week’s festivities.
