The Department of Anaesthesiology was established in July 1982. Postgraduate courses — Diploma in Anaesthesia (D.A.) and M.D. Anaesthesiology — commenced in 1992 under Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The department continues to provide comprehensive clinical services and quality education through a team of dedicated and skilled faculty members.
