Overview
This one-year fellowship at Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, aims to prepare doctors for excellence in managing two of the most common non-communicable diseases—diabetes and hypertension. The program emphasizes early diagnosis, therapeutic management, lifestyle modification, and complication prevention through evidence-based clinical practice. Fellows receive structured training that includes outpatient and inpatient management, exposure to advanced diagnostic techniques, interventional therapies, and preventive health strategies. Academic components such as seminars, workshops, journal clubs, and research projects are integral to the program. By the end of training, fellows are competent in delivering holistic, patient-focused care while contributing to public health and research in diabetes and hypertension.
