This one-year fellowship at Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Karad, is designed for surgeons seeking expertise in breast cancer care. The program covers clinical evaluation, surgical oncology, reconstructive procedures, systemic therapies, and palliative care, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice. Fellows gain hands-on experience in breast conservation surgery, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, reconstructive techniques, and oncoplastic procedures. Alongside clinical exposure, trainees participate in academic sessions, tumor boards, journal clubs, and research projects. The fellowship prepares participants to deliver comprehensive breast oncology care while advancing knowledge through research and academic contributions.
