The M.S. in Ophthalmology aims to develop clinical specialists proficient in comprehensive eye care, microsurgical techniques, refraction, and community ophthalmology. The program prepares candidates to provide standard care, conduct research, and train future ophthalmologists.
The program facilitates comprehensive understanding and skill development in clinical ophthalmology, ocular diagnostics, surgical techniques, community eye care, and the management of vision disorders across all age groups.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Annual Intake:
- 6 seats per year
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have completed MBBS from a recognized institution.
- One-year rotating internship must be completed satisfactorily.
- Must be registered with the State Medical Council or MCI.
- Admission through NEET-PG with minimum 50 percentile (or as per Govt. of India regulations).
- Must be enrolled as a full-time resident during the entire course.
- Candidates with a recognized two-year postgraduate diploma in the same subject may get a one-year duration exemption.
