M.D. Community Medicine (PSM)

Overview
The M.D. in Community Medicine is designed to train medical graduates in the principles and practices of public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, disease prevention, health promotion, health administration, and health program planning. The course develops leadership, managerial, and technical skills necessary for planning, implementing, and evaluating national and international health programs and interventions.
The program facilitates comprehensive understanding and skill development in epidemiology, public health systems, biostatistics, environmental and occupational health, health program management, and community-based research.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Annual Intake:
- 2 seats per year
- Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS from recognized institution
- Completion of 1-year rotating internship
- Registration with MCI or State Medical Council
- NEET-PG qualification with 50 percentile or as per Govt. norms
- Full-time residency required for 3 years
- Duration may reduce by 1 year for students with a recognized PG diploma in Community Medicine
