M.D. Pharmacology
The program develops expertise in pharmacokinetics, therapeutics, clinical trials, drug safety, and teaching, preparing postgraduates for academic, regulatory, and research roles in pharmacology.
Overview
The M.D. Pharmacology and Therapeutics program trains students in the science of drugs and their clinical applications, empowering them to become competent pharmacologists capable of contributing to medical education, drug development, rational prescribing, and patient safety. The curriculum blends theoretical learning, laboratory work, clinical exposure, and research.
The program facilitates comprehensive understanding and skill development in drug mechanisms, therapeutic applications, clinical pharmacology, experimental research, pharmacovigilance, and evidence-based prescribing.
