Diploma in Hearing & Ear Mould Technology
The Diploma in Hearing & Ear Mould Technology trains students in the fabrication of custom ear moulds, hearing aid repair, and electro-acoustic analysis—preparing them to support audiologists in clinics, hospitals, and hearing care centers.
Overview
The Diploma in Hearing & Ear Mould Technology is a one-year, skill-focused paramedical program designed to train students in the technical aspects of hearing aid components, repair, assembly, and ear mould fabrication. The course blends electronics, audiology principles, and hands-on lab skills to prepare students for careers in hearing aid clinics, ENT departments, and audiology centers.
The program develops strong foundational and practical skills in hearing aid technology, electronic circuit handling, earmould fabrication, audiometric evaluation, and assistive listening device maintenance—preparing students for hands-on roles in hearing care and rehabilitation.
Basic electronics and digital circuits
Hearing aid assembly, types, components, and repairs
Assistive listening devices (ALDs)
Earmould fabrication, materials, and modification
Ear anatomy and physiology
